Derick walked out of his last class of the day; math. Today was the first day of the new school year, meaning the lying games were going to get even better; something Derick definitely looked forward to. As Derick passed through the door of math class a breeze seemed to thrash at his face. Derick entered the hallway, of which was flooded with students. Girls were shrieking in joy as they met up with friends they hadn't seen for awhile, Couples were making out against lockers, and groups were already starting to form. "Hey Derick!" familiar people called to him from across the hall, Derick just waved and grinned. The slow moving glob of students was getting even slower when more classrooms started to empty out into the hallway. Finally Derick made it to his locker, fumbling with it just enough to get the lock popped open. The lock made it's usual click, meaning it agreed with the combination Derick put in. Derick swung open the locker, grabbing is iPhone off the top shelf. Just as Derick grabbed the iPhone it vibrated with a new text message. Derick opened it and it looked something like this From: Johnny Subject: Sup Dude? The lying game today?
[reply]
Derick grinned at tapped the reply button To: Johnny From: Derick Subject: Sup Dude? Of course! Wouldn't miss it for the life of me.
[send]
Derick pressed the send button, then slid his phone into his back pocket. He shoved his homework and study books into his backpack, then slung the backpack over his shoulder, making his way out of the clump of students and toward the school's exit door.

Lily was excited as she left her French class, the last class of the day. She was hoping to do the lying game today, and she couldn't wait. It had been a long, boring, and kinda hard summer. Just like every summer, she had been stuck home most of the time, all her friends off of vacation or camp, doing all sorts of fun stuff. But as usual, her parents put off replying to her questions about summer camp, and then the date to register had passed, and it was too late. If she could have gone, she would have had fun, but instead, she was stuck at home with parents who could have cared less if she had dropped dead on the floor.
Sure, she had clothes, computers, phones, any item she could want, but she what she really wanted, was parents who cared, and actually bothered to look at her once in a while. Lily lived for the school year, when she could start the lying game, and be able to escape her life at home. Sighing, she dropped her books in her locker, and grabbed her backpack. She hoped she could start the lying game today, and not have to face a long evening at home. But she feared she would. She spotted Derick, a boy she had run across on occaison. "Hey Derick." She said, working her way through the crowd over to him. She wasn't exactly sure how he'd react to her greeting. It wasn't as though they were best friends.

Johnny's phone let out a single beep with Derick's reply to Johnny's first text. Of course! Wouldn't miss it for the life of me., Johnny smiled and hit reply.
To: Derick From: Johnny Subject: Sup Dude? Meet up at my house!
[send]
Johnny tapped send on his iPhone and tossed the iPhone into the side pocket of his backpack. Johnny walked out the back door of the school, quickly walking to his black sports car, attempting to beat Derick to their destination. His sports car hummed to life as Johnny put the key into the ignition.
The Lying Game. Something of horror, vengeance, and flat out evilness. The game that kept everything lively. The thing that kept Johnny on edge every week. "I can't believe this is a whole new year of the games" Johnny thought to himself. He knew things were about to get creepy, and interesting. Just how bad was the lying game going to get this year?
Before long Johnny pulled up into the path that would lead to the gates of his home. Johnny turned through the twisty path until finally he reached the gates. Johnny entered a password into a buzzing system that was set up next to the gate. The gates creaked before slowly opening.

Shortly after Derick sent out his recent text to Johnny, Johnny sent back a new one. Meet up at my house! Derick read the new text, starting to feel in a rush. Derick started to type a new message.
To: Johnny From: Derick Subject: Sup Dude? On my way!
[send]
Just as Derick pressed send he heard his name being called again. He looked up in the direction of the voice, recognizing a blonde girl by the name of Lily. "Oh, hey Lily!" Derick knew lily and hoped to possibly get to know her better this year. He would like to say him and her were friends, but honestly they never hung out. Don't get him wrong, she was a pretty girl, but pretty girls always seemed to arouse trouble for Derick.
Derick stopped in the middle of the crowd, slowing it down slightly so Lily could make her way through it easier. Once Lily caught up to him, Derick immediately started walking again this time with Lily by his side. "Any special plans for the day?" Derick asked her The question came out of Derick's mouth with one thing on his mind; The lying game.
The lying game wasn't just a game, it was the source of excitement; this is the way Derick sees it. Maybe me and Johnny should do the lying game on Lily? Derick thought. The idea of this made Derick smirk.

Lily gave a small smile in response, and quickly caught up to him as he waited for her to get through the crowd. Working your way through crowds could be a nightmare at times. She hoped to get to know Derick better, since she figured they were aquiantinces at the moment. Besides an occaisonal hi, and how are you, she never really saw.
She shook her head. "Nope, probably will be another long evening-" She quickly backtracked, realizing she had said another long evening. "I mean not a long evening, just an exciting one planned." No one knew about her parents, and she intended to keep it that way.

Derick listened intently and paused for a moment. "I mean not a long evening, just an exciting one planned." Derick was slightly bummed that Lily had plans, he wanted to invite her over to Johnny's house, maybe she could become friends with him and Johnny? "Well I was actually gonna ask if you wanna come with me and head over to Johnny's house? But since you have plans, I guess that won't work." Derick sent Lily a flirty grin before slowly returning his gaze upon the school's front door.
They kept walking and passed through the school's door, a warm still-summer breeze whipped around. The air smelt fresh, slightly of ocean sea salt as there was an ocean nearby. This was Tucson, Arizona; a desert that was most known to be very warm.
Derick was wearing dark blue denim shorts, a white and navy blue pollo shirt, and tennis shoes. Nothing to complicated. This was the way Derick usually was, he didn't dress too fancy unless it was a special occasion. Of course everyday Derick wore the same expensive cologne.
Derick kept walking with Lily, stretching his arms and cracking his neck; school left him rather stiff. Derick finally made it to his black jeep, wresting his back against it's nearest door. "So you coming then?" he asked.

(oh, sorry, I meant to put not an exciting one planned) "Oh sorry. I meant to say I didn't have an exciting on planned. Gosh, I can't speak today. That invivation still open? Because there's nothing waiting for me at home." And there really wasn't. Her parents wouldn't be home till probably 10. Some dinner meeting. Again.
She fixed her light yellow ruffle top as they exited the school. She was wearing light demin shorts, and flip-flops, with her hair down. Though she never "dressed" up for school, she tried to wear something that at least looked a little nice. "Yeah, guess I am if you don't mind." Lily replied, unlocking the door to her silver volkswagon convertible beetle. She loved the car, and her parents had gotten it specially made, with all sorts of neat features inside.

"All right then, let's go!" Derick said with a playful chuckle. He opened the passenger door for Lily to hop in, closing the door behind her. Derick then hopped into the drivers seat, starting up the ignition, then strolling smoothing down the north neighborhoods.
Derick started looking through all the huge mansions for Johnny's house. One that really wasn't hard to find; it was the biggest on the block. Derick followed a twisty path up to huge medal gates with designs on them. He typed in a more than complicated password into a buzzing system, then watched the magic happen as the gates slowly slid open. "Let the game begin" Derick said under his breath as he drove through the gates.

"Yeah, I can pick up my car later." She said hopping in. "Or better yet, I'll just text my parents to have someone pick it up. That's one thing they don't mind doing." She leaned back in the seat, and pulled out her phone.
Hey Mom, Dad. Went to a friend's house. Can you have someone pick up my car?
She hit send, then watched as they drove through. "Woah, nice house." She said, assuming it was his, since she didn't know they were meeting Johnny. She heard him mumble something, then glanced at him. "What?"

Derick knew how to get to Johnny's house, he had done it plenty of times before. "Woah, nice house." Derick knew all houses around here were big, but this one was slightly larger. "You think this is nice, wait till you see the inside of this house! Johnny has the biggest one on the block." Derick said, speeding past the speed limit. "What?" Derick just shook his head, as if to say "oh, nothing.."
Derick pulled into Johnny's driveway, turning off his car, then going to open Lily's door for her. "Ready?" he asked, grabbing her by the hand and leading her into Johnny's house.
Once Derick and Lily reached Johnny's front door Derick knocked four times; a code him and Johnny made up when they were little meaning "Hot girl is with me, don't do anything dumb"

"Yeah, it looks nice. My house is pretty cool, but it can't compare to this." Lily replied, slipping her phone into her backpocket. "Oh, nothing" She eyes eyed him for a moment, but then faced forward again. She unbuckled her seat belt, and hopped out as Derick opened the door for her.
Derick knocked not once, but 4 times, so she figured it was just some friend thing. Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, she waited for Johnny to answer the door.

Johnny was sitting in his fancy living room. The living room had a light switch where you could pick if you wanted the room pitched black, dark, dim, bright, light, or extremely light. Johnny sat in dimness, watching some football game but both teams sucked.
Johnny heard four knocks on his front door. "He brought a hot one with em', did he?" Johnny thought, snickering. Johnny opened up the door, immediately feeling jealous as he realized right then and there that Derick had a crush on the same girl as him. They both had a thing for Lily.
Johnny felt like slamming the door in Derick's face, he thought he had told Derick before that Lily was "his". "Come on in!" Johnny said, trying his best to sound happy. When Lily turned her head away, Johnny gave Derick a glare meaning; "I can't believe you!". Johnny walked to the living room, turning the light on alittle higher to make the room not so drowsy. He turned off the tv. making the room dead silent. "So, you guys ready?" he asked.

Derick smiled at Johnny when he opened the door, then realizing that Johnny was not happy with him. Derick walked into Johnny's house as Johnny held the door open for him and Lily. Lily turned her head, looking around Johnny's house.
Derick felt slightly bad as Johnny threw him a mean glare; Derick recalled a memory where Johnny had talked about Lily, saying that he thought she was really pretty. But just because Derick let her tag along didn't mean he asked her out. Derick liked Lily too, but Johnny could have any girl in Hollier High, Derick couldn't.
Derick trailed after Johnny into the houses' living room. The lights were dim and Derick was wondering why in the world Johnny would wanna sit alone in the dark. "So, you guys ready?" Derick smiled in excitement "Of course!" Derick said enthusiastically.

"Nice place." Lily said, walking inside, and looking around. The room was a little dark, but he turned the lights up a bit. She had seen Johnny around school, but didn't really know him that well. Then again, except for Mercy, there was no one else she knew really well. She wasn't exactly the most social person in the world, though she liked hanging out with friends.
As Johnny asked if they were ready, Lily gave a grin. "I was born ready. Of course!!" She replied.

Johnny scanned over both Derick's and Lily's faces after he led them into his living room. "Nice place." Johnny smiled at Lily's compliment. "I'm glad you like it. But it honestly can't be much more then your house!" Johnny said. He didn't know one person that went to Hollier High who didn't live in a mansion, or some type of specially designed house that cost a fortune.
"Of course!"
"I was born ready. Of course!!" Johnny nodded and led them up a long staircase to a very large bedroom; his bedroom. He climbed onto his bed, open up his laptop. In just seconds he pulled up a list of students who he had been wanting to prank.
The List ~~ Mercy Riley Truthie Keegan Meranda Lorell etc.
Johnny didn't scroll down far enough to reveal the last name which was highlighted in bold; Lily. "Okay so we just got to figure who to pull our first lying game prank on! Johnny said excitedly, showing the list to them.
