Lily hopped out of silver convertible volkswagon beetle, and locked the door. She was dressed in denim shorts, white flowery flip-flops, and a tight light blue top. A matching purse was slung over her shoulder. Putting her sunglasses on, she started walking, just hoping to get out for a while.
Her parents were gone as usual, and staying around the house had been not appealing what so ever. So she had decided to drive into town, hoping she might see someone from school.

Derick sprinted around the corner of a building laughing like crazy, Mercy came running after him shrieking in playfull madness, wearing a shirt that had just gotten drenched in water. "I'm sorry! I'm Sorry!" Derick said in between laughs. Jasmine came and hopped on him, punching him playfully on his shoulder.
Derick had just pulled the first Lying Game of the year. He was just sitting with his back up against a building in an alley talking to Mercy, when she gave him flavored water. Derick had pretended to be allergic to the water's flavor, then pretended he couldn't breath, he then fake-fainted. However Derick was good at pretending and this whole thing Derick had just done to Mercy really seemed real.

Lily heard laughs and shrieks, then saw Derick running around the corner of the building, Mercy running behind him. Smiling, she jogged over. "Let me guess, first lying game of the year?" She said with a laugh. (sorry mercy, short post, but I have nothing else)

Post by Mercy Mercer!? ★ on Feb 4, 2012 11:42:21 GMT -5
Mercy received a text from Derick - "Hey, just got done jogging. I'm cooling of in an alley next to the Permisso's Pizza Shop. Come bring me some water?" - Mercy texted him back saying "Of course! Be there in a sec." She drove to the nearest gas station, looking for a bottle of water, but suddenly realizing all the bottled water had been bought. Mercy walked to the flavored water, buying lemon flavored -her personal favorite- then heading off to the alley along side of Permisso's Pizza Shop.
Mercy hopped out of her car and sprinted into the alley, the bag with lemon water in her hand. Mercy sat next to Derick, handing him the bag. "Thanks!" Derick said. Mercy nodded in approval. She looked out of the alley, seeing sunlight, seagulls, and floods of people.
Alley turned her head back towards Derick while saying "Nice day Isn-" Derick had fainted, his eyes rolled back into their sockets, his body limp. Mercy gasped for air, she was going in to some type of mental shock. Her head flew down to Derick's chest where she listened for a heart beat. The beat was fading slowly, but surely away.
"Someone help!! HELP ME!!!" Mercy screamed standing up from her sitting position. Just as she stood up, a strong hand grabbed her left ankle. Mercy let out a startled shriek before looking back where Derick had been.
"Gotcha!" Derick said laughing, pouring the flavored water down Mercy's shirt. Derick took off in a full speed sprint, towards the exit of the alley, laughing his head off.
"Derick! You lying bastard! I really thought you were dying!" Mercy shrieked, running after him.
Just as they got out of the alley Mercy hopped on Derick's back and punched his shoulder. Lily came running over. "Let me guess, first lying game of the year?" "Yup!" Mercy answered with a slightly irritated giggle.
(It's fine Lily!)

Riley came walking from a surf shop that was across the street from where Lily, Derick, and Mercy stood. "Hey guys! What's--" Riley held his hand over his mouth, covering up a smile as he saw Mercy's soaked shirt. "What happened to you?" He said looking up at her not-so-happy face, then deciding maybe he shouldn't have said anything.
"What's everyone doing today?" he asked, running a hand quickly through his hair. Riley wore a red and white pollo shirt, silver sunglasses, white hollister shorts, and some black and white Nike tennis shoes.
Riley had no plans, his parents weren't home -- like always -- and he definitely didn't feel like sitting all alone in a huge house. He could have gone swimming in the pool that was in his backyard, but what fun was it to swim alone? Riley desperately needed someone he could stick around with for the day, his parents wouldn't be home at all for a month and half, they had taken up a tour somewhere in Australia.

Lily laughed as Riley spoke. "Just the first lying game of the year. Nice one Derick. Mercy, I have an extra shirt in my car if you want to change." She offered. She and Mercy were similar sizes, and if they wanted to do something, she might not want to wear her soaked shirt. Especially since it smelled like lemon, it could be slightly sticky.
"And no idea. But my parents aren't home, and sitting around the house does so not sound like fun. So come, anyone have any ideas of what to do? Because I'm definity not going back home." She replied. It was a little hot out, but not miserably hot, thankfully. And with the sun out, it was a beautiful day.

Derick was still laughing even when Lily had made it over to where he and Mercy stood. "You should have seen the look on your face!" Derick said as he slowly stopped laughing.
"Derick! You lying bastard! I really thought you were dying!" Derick Felt slightly amused as Mercy basically admitted she would care if he was dying. "It's not my fault that you fell for something so simple and obvious! I guess you care about me then?" Derick grinned.
Riley came running over, someone Derick was familiar with ever since 4th grade. 4th grade; the grade of which Derick met two guys; Johnny and Riley. "What happened to you?" Derick knew Riley had a thing for Mercy, Riley had told him not to pull and mean lying game stunts on Mercy so that is the honest reason why Derick hadn't done anything too bad to Mercy.
Derick listened as everyone conversated. "And no idea. But my parents aren't home, and sitting around the house does so not sound like fun. So come, anyone have any ideas of what to do? Because I'm definitely not going back home." Derick thought for a moment about something they could do, he then cuffed his hand over Riley's ear and whispered into it; "Double date?" he asked.

Riley nodded in agreement to Derick's question, he then whispered back "I agree, but It should be a surprise" Riley was good at surprising people so all Derick would have to do his follow his lead. Riley had an idea, they could all go to the mall, Derick and Riley could disappear and get food for a picnic, then they could swing back around to the mall where they would pick up Lily and Mercy.
Him and Derick could drive the girls out into the desert to a nearby cliff that overlooked Tucson Arizona, they could have a romantic evening there.
"Can you excuse us for a second?" Riley asked Lily and Mercy before gesturing for Derick to follow him. When Riley's voice could no longer be audible by Lily or Mercy, Riley explained his plan to Derick.

Derick listened intently to Riley's plan "digging" every second of it. How in the world do Riley come up with this stuff? Derick decided Riley's new nickname would be Romeo. "Nice plan, but where do you come up with this stuff?" Derick said with a slightly mocking facial expression. Derick did admire Riley's qualities, but he always jumped at a chance to irritate Riley.
"So, we take them to the mall now do we can ditch them for a half hour?" Derick asked with a laugh. He let the plan sink into his brain, processing how everything would workout. Derick walked with Johnny back over to the girls. "So who's up for the mall?" Derick asked curiously.

Lily nodded as the boys stepped off to the side for a minyute. They were whispering, but whatever they were talking about it, it better not be some lying game trick. If it was, Mercy would probably kick them into next week. She turned back to Mercy, pulling her sunglasses out of her purse since the sun was bright.
Derick and Riley walked back over. "So who's up for the mall?/ Because she knew them, they probably had something up their sleeve, but she didn't mention it. "Sure, sounds good to me." She replied.

Derick nodded once, careful not to let his expressions take on the way he really felt; excited and even slightly nervous. The muscular young man stretched to loosen the tension of the awkward silence. He waited impatiently for Riley to talk, screaming for the silence to end. "Guess we should get going then" Derick spoke huskily. He stepped through the space between him and Lily, wrapping his arm gently around her waist. Derick pulled Lily close, loving the way her body melted into his. His grin widened at the thought of being so close to her. His heart raced and his desire to touch the bare skin of her stomach grew. To keep himself from sliding his fingers up to touch Lily's skin Derick bit the sides of his mouth, flexing his jaw. He didn't want Lily to get freaked by him, not after he was making so much progress.
